About
Charrette Strategies was founded to help purpose-driven organizations find clarity at pivotal moments. Because when clarity improves, progress accelerates. When direction becomes blurred or growth outpaces alignment, even strong organizations can stall. In those moments, what’s needed isn’t more activity — it’s clearer thinking.
The name comes from the architectural charrette, an intensive, collaborative design process used to tackle complex challenges. A charrette brings the right people into the room, focuses attention on what matters most, and produces work that holds up long after the meeting itself.
Charrette Strategies applies that same discipline to organizational strategy: structured conversations, intentional participation, and rigorous synthesis that leads to practical direction leaders can use.
At its core, the work of Charrette Strategies is about creating clarity so organizations can move forward with confidence.
Charrette Strategies was founded by Laura Bartsch, a strategist and former executive leader with two decades of experience in coalition-building, growth strategy, and cross-sector leadership in the energy transition. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations align around shared direction and translate complex ideas into forward motion.
In addition to her advisory work, Laura writes and speaks about navigating complex change and helping more people understand and shape the systems around them. Her writing can be found at LauraBartsch.com.
